Building Your Online Brand? DON’T Skimp Out on the Content!
February 4th, 2010 • Caroline • 1 Comment »Have you come across a website or online article that literally makes you space out? Or how about content that reads like it was written by an 8 year old? OR content that is so long you forget why the heck you stumbled across the site in the first place?
Online content can be BAD. I mean really bad. I have come across so much cr&*on the Internet that I wonder how the business or individual behind it makes a living.
Some businesses and entrepreneurs still don’t get that content is KING.
Skimping out on this step of the website or blog is only going to cost you big bucks in the long run, so don’t bother saving your pennies by hiring a “writer” to produce material for $5 a page. I’m surprised at the amount of people who hope to cut financial corners rather than do things properly and increase or establish the respect of their business.
SEO is part of what makes your online content successful or not successful. But keep in mind, it isn’t just about getting link backs and inserting the right keywords and key phrases. It’s about having something useful and in line with the over all message you are trying to portray, keeping readers informed, interested and able to go away with valuable information. With to the point, insightful and relvant information will also come other businesses and entrepreneurs who will want to link back to your site and prospects lining up to find out how your knowledge can benefit them.
Whether it’s your website, online articles or blogs, keep in mind that originality, knowledge, grammar and relevance are what matters the most.

It looks like you’ve pulled together a pretty good following nowadays! I’m happy for you!
